The rapid devolution into authoritarianism has Musk at its center: from DOGE throwing government into chaos, to extorting Ukraine via Starlink, to his overt manipulation of X's algorithms.

When we do nothing, we enable his machine. X in particular has become a hub of Nazi support and propaganda. and Musk himself is unabashed in performing a salute that is spreading through the far-right movement.

Some possible public eXiT actions include:

• Demanding your city, county, and other local governments delete their X accounts (and get on BlueSky or other alternatives)

• Lobbying elected officials to either delete their accounts or limit their posting to fighting disinformation

• Working to replace Tesla chargers with alternatives

• Investigate public pension funds for Tesla holdings or index funds that include Tesla

• Join a #TeslaTakedown event

We can also take individual actions:

• Delete your X account

• Remove Tesla from your investments (including any index funds that still contain the stock)

• Get rid of your Tesla and choose a car whose CEO isn't actively destroying our government
